A big thanks to Susie for providing this awesome, healthy, energy-loaded breakfast recipe! All the monounsaturated fats from the nuts and peanut butter balance nicely with the complex carbs of whole wheat, and along with hints of sweetness from the raisins, this breakfast goes great with a glass of milk.
Crunchy Chewiness on Whole Wheat
1 slice whole wheat bread
1.5 tbsp all natural peanut butter
1 tbsp pumpkin seeds
1 tbsp sunflower seeds
1 tbsp raisins
1. Spread all natural peanut butter on one side of whole wheat bread.
2. Sprinkle seeds and raisins on top and enjoy folded over or open-faced.
